Looking to bring your care management career to the next level? Cone Health is looking for a talented Audit Appeals Nurse to work with insurance companies when they decline procedures for a patient. This person will be writing appeals letters to the insurance company demonstrating medical necessity when a procedure is declined.

You will oversee the Government Audit implementation and response team. This person will develop workflows, policies and procedures and the communication plan to prepare for audit requests, denials and appeals in accordance with our compliance plan.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelor degree required. RHIA or RN

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REGULATORY:
Required:
RN or RHIA

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
5-7 years working with Chart Audits in a medical environment. General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding systems.
Preferred:
Experience preferred in Health Information Management with electronic medical records;
EPIC experience preferred
